How to Clean Your Lash Extensions Supplies
Here are the steps to clean and disinfect your eyelash extension supplies. You don’t have to clean and disinfect all the lash extension supplies and tools that you used. Some should be thrown out after only one use. Disposable mascara wands and other lash extension tools such as glue pads, glue wipes, and cotton pads should all be thrown out.
Step 1: Pre-treatment
Start scrubbing with your antibacterial soap and use your lash tweezers to remove all visible dirt and debris. Be sure to inspect between the tips.
Step 2: Rinse
Use running lukewarm water to rinse the lash extension tools and supplies, and use a towel to dry your eyelash tweezers.
Step 3: Cleanse
Use your favorite disinfectant to soak your tweezers. You will need a small container that can hold your lash tools and supplies flat.
Step 4: Dry
To avoid contamination, remove the lash extension supplies and tools from the container with clean tongs. Rinse the container with warm water and use a clean, disposable towel to dry your tools. You may need to rinse some disinfectant solutions off before drying. Make sure you read the instructions carefully.
Step 5: Storage
Storage is the last and most important step. You can store your tools and lash supplies in a well-ventilated drawer or container.
